Ingredients
- 1 lb grass-fed beef (thinly sliced ribeye/flank steak or ground beef)
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp raw honey or grated Asian pear/apple
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Method
- 1
Marinate: Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey or grated pear, garlic, and ginger. Toss the beef in the marinade for at least 15–20 minutes.
- 2
Sear: Heat a skillet over high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and sear quickly — 2–3 minutes per side for sliced beef, or brown thoroughly if using ground beef — to keep it tender.

Finish: Stir in sliced green onions and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve over steamed brown rice or cauliflower rice alongside kimchi.
